Despite the growing number of visitors to Iceland it is still very easy to feel as if you are alone at the edge of the world. But while people might be willing to travel to Iceland to experience that feeling for a while the protagonists of a new sci-fi drama Bokeh wake up one morning on their romantic holiday in Iceland to discover they are actually the only two people left on Earth.

The low-budget movie, Bokeh, is set to be released in cinemas on March 24. It follows a couple on a trip to Iceland, which one day wake up to discover every person on earth has disappeared. While their initial reaction quickly evolves from shock to excitement they are soon forced to grapple with the question of how to live and survive in this new world.

The movie was shot in the summer of 2014, when the midnight sun made it possible to shoot at night.
