The Mountain finished third in the World’s Strongest Man competition in Malaysia

Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson finished third in the World’s Strongest Man competition in Malaysia. Brian Shaw, from the U.S, took home the world title this year, beating Lithuanian Žydrūnas Savickas and Hafþór into second and third places.

Last year, Hafþór came second to Lithuanian strongman Žydrūnas Savickas, while Shaw took third place.

According to Vísir, Hafþór is determined to return next year and claim the world title.

“I’ll be back next year; bigger, stronger, faster and more experienced,” he said.
