The Langjökull ice tunnel is nearing its completion and is due to open on June 1st, reports Vísir. The 500 metre (1,640 feet) long ice cave is the brainchild of engineering company Efla and various travel companies operating on Langjökull glacier and will feature exhibitions, restaurants and a chapel, ideal for those who wish to marry deep inside Iceland’s second largest ice cap.
