The Winter Lights Festival in Reykjavík was formally set last tonight with a light installation by Marcos Zlotes which was projected onto Hallgrímskirkja church.

The two members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police who had attended the opening ceremony with Mayor Dagur B. Eggertsson earlier that day seemed impressed with the colourful art installation.
