Dagur Kári receives the Nordic Council Film Prize for the film Virgin Mountain

Filmmaker Dagur Kári received the 2015 Nordic Council Film Prize for the film Virgin Mountain (original title Fúsi).
Director Benedikt Erlingsson, who won the prize last year for his debut film Hross í oss, handed Dagur Kári the award at a ceremony in Reykjavík yesterday.

Fúsi received three awards at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival. The film won best world narrative, best actor award and best screenplay.
