Icelandic media is linking Ben Affeck's decision to enter into treatment for alcohol addiction to his heavy partying while staying in Iceland for the shooting of the upcoming Justice League movie. The local news site Vísir declaring in a headline that "Ben Affleck enters into rehab after Iceland visit."

Ben Affleck was in Iceland late last year shooting the upcoming Justice League movie in the Strandir region on the northern coast of the Westfjords. Affleck plays Batman in the movie. Among the other actors is Jason Momoa, who plays Aquaman but is probably best known for his role as Khal Drago. According to news reports at the time, and the Instagram feed of Momoa, the film crew and actors had time to party during the filming.

On Tuesday Affleck announced in a post on Facebook that he was entering into treatment for alcoholism, "live life to the fullest and be the best father I can be". Vísir puts two and two together, and concludes that the two events must be connected.
