All Tomorrow's Parties Iceland was simply amazing

  • Portishead was among those who performed at ATP Iceland this year.

The music festival All Tomorrow’s Parties took place in Iceland for the second time last weekend. The three-day long festival was held in Ásbrú, the old US army base near Keflavík International Airport. Portishead, Mogwai, Interpol, Kurt Vile and Devendra Banhart were among the artists performing at ATP Iceland this year.

The atmosphere at this year’s festival was celebratory and cheerful, despite the pissing rain and heavy winds putting their mark on the opening night on Thursday. The festival has grown considerably in size over the course of one year – yet it never felt too crowded at the old army base.

Be sure to join the party  next year!
